Salvation For The Jews

Some Christians believe that all Jews will be saved; that there is some sort of "special plan" by which they will all be saved.

What does the Bible say about that idea?

Romans 11:11-14 (NIV)
11. Again I ask: Did they (Israel) stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. 12. But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their fullness bring!
13. I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I make much of my ministry 14. in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them.

Now why would Paul be trying to "arouse his own people to envy" and "save SOME of them" if they were all going to be saved anyway???

No, the Jews are subject to the same Gospel of salvation as the Gentiles are:

Romans 3:9,10,20-24,29,30 (NIV)
9. What shall we conclude then? Are we any better ? Not at all! We have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under sin. 10. As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one;
20. Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin. 21. But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.
22. This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, 23. for ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24. and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
29. Is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too, 30. since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith.

Jewish people are just as able to accept the Gospel as Gentiles are:

Romans 11:23,24 (NIV)
23. And if they (the Jews) do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24. After all, if you (Gentiles) were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!

According to the Bible, there is no difference between Jew and Gentile... WHOEVER (Jew or Gentile) calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved:

Romans 10:11-13 (NIV)
11. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." 12. For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-- the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13. for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

There is also no difference between a saved Jew or a saved Gentile; we all have the same standing with God when we are saved:

Galatians 3:26-29 (NIV)
26. You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, 27. for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

PRAYER
Thank You Father for Your Word, that tells me so much about You and Your salvation. Help me to understand Your Word, so I can follow Your ways more closely.
