Why Do I Do This?

THE DAILY WORD

Someone asked me why I do this "Daily Word".
I do it in order to encourage those who need encouraging. Many Christians go to churches that promote condemnation instead of encouragement. Others have difficult circumstances they face every day at their jobs, and they need more than just a Sunday morning message to keep their faith strong. Everyone else on the planet can always use some encouragement as well!

1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NIV)
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

As Christians, we are not supposed to be condemning one another, but encouraging one another!

Hebrews 3:12-14 (NIV)
12. See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. 13. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness.
14. We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first.

The main reason so many of my messages pertain to faith and believing God's Word, is that an UNBELIEVING heart is sinful! Encouragement causes us to not be "hardened by sin's deceitfulness"! The only way we can all hold firmly to the CONFIDENCE we have is by encouraging one another!!

Condemnation and accusation are the devil's weapons to destroy us! Encouragement and faith are the weapons God has given us to overcome the doubt and negativity all around us!

PRAYER
Thank You Father for the life I have as a believer. Thank You for giving me Your Word to encourage and strengthen me in my faith every day. Help me to walk through this life with complete confidence in You, with my faith built up, and encouraging others.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
