Don't Ignore What God Says! (Part 2)

The world is getting more and more corrupt, and the lines of moral decency are getting worn away to the point where it's hard to see them at all!

There is a growing support for those who call themselves "gay". Unfortunately, there is no such class of people in God's eyes:

Genesis 1:27 (NIV)
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

God created MALE and FEMALE. Those are the only two genders that exist, because those are the only genders God ever made! Supporters of the homosexual lifestyle confuse the issue by claiming that "gays" should have "equal rights" to get married to eachother.

Civil rights in our country belong to every nationality and every MAN and WOMAN. Being homosexual is a BEHAVIOR; NOT a gender or a "minority".

As discussed yesterday, "gays" are people who indulge in an unnatural behavior, and should get no "extra rights and priveledges" just because they do! If "gays" should get extra special treatment, then so should people who indulge in OTHER unnatural behaviors, like rape, murder, and beastiality!

Should our country give special rights to those who practice disgusting behavior, just because they do? Of course not!

Because of people's hard hearts, God "gave them over to" homosexuality; He did not CAUSE their homosexuality or approve of it; He basically allowed it.

It is no surprise then, that in this day and age when people don't see fit to retain the knowledge of God, gays and lesbians are more common than ever. It is a sign of how far our world has fallen. Yet God loves ALL men; including homosexuals, and wants them to be saved:

John 3:16 (NIV)
16. "For God so loved THE WORLD that he gave his one and only Son, that WHOEVER believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

1 Timothy 2:3,4 (NIV)
3. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4. who wants ALL men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

If God wants ALL to be saved, then that includes homosexuals. When they get saved and become new creatures in Christ, they will desire the knowledge of God, and eventually will reject the evil they came out of.

Don't be confused by "popular thought" that comes out of the news media; homosexuals should NOT get extra rights! But our focus as believers should be to PRAY for those who are being held captive by satan, so they can be set free!

PRAYER
Thank You Father for loving me, and for loving all people. Help me not to judge individuals harshly, but rather to pray for them. Help me extend Your grace effectively to those around me.
